Hurricane Katrina Benefit

April Love, Coordinator of Music at Stephenson U.M. Church in Parkersburg, WV, was pleased with the results of the Hurricane Katrina Fund Raiser held on Sunday, September 18th, at 7 p.m. The hour of music raised and extra $804.00 for the victims and survivors of the disaster. All monies will be donated to UMCOR for aid to our brothers and sisters in Christ affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Special thanks to J.D. Williamson, Cartoonist, Illustrator (304) 375-7888, who entertained the children and adults with a cartoon presentation. Other performers included Christian McGiver and Sarah Flanigan singing ”He's Got The Whole World In His Hands.” Ronnie Sebaugh and Abby Gulseman, Guitar & Banjo, sang several songs, as did April McGiver (a.k.a. April Love). Thanks also to Jo Shields, President and CEO of "Picture This" Event Planning (304-615-2133) for her time, organizing and decorations.

Here are a few highlights from the event. It was a huge success.
